I am disheartened by the accidental death of Marla McArron. She was a great teacher. Two of my children were very lucky to have her as their teacher, friend, sister and mother. Their success in life is partially due to her teaching skills and wisdom.
Marla considered every student as her own child. In spite of her compassion, she did not ignore disciplining any misbehaving child. She worked with every student, individually, at his own pace without any of them getting behind the curriculum.
My children loved going to school because of her. She left a long-lasting memory of her kind personality not only with us but with other students and their parents. May she rest in peace. Our hearts and prayers are with her family and friends.
