Mental health support appreciated

By From page A10 | August 04, 2013

With little fanfare over the years, Friends of Allied Non-Profits in Davis has been quietly improving the lives of those on the path to mental health. Through their consignment shop, All Things Right & Relevant, this nonprofit has been able to employ mental health clients and contribute to a number of social service and mental health agencies in Yolo County, including our program at Pine Tree Gardens.
At Turning Point Community Programs, we’d like to express our thanks for this vital support. We are thankful not only for the financial contribution of $3,000, but also for the creation of jobs that mental health clients are happy to fill. The path to recovery is always enhanced by having meaningful activities to engage in and their thrift shop certainly provides those opportunities.

For 20 years, Allied Non-Profits’ efforts have benefited Pine Tree Gardens and other worthwhile programs in Davis. Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful generosity.
John Buck
CEO, Turning Point Community Programs
