Our Little Shop that Could

By
From page A6 | January 08, 2013 |

Thank you for printing Meg Sloss’ op-ed piece, “It’s time to air Davis’ dirty laundry,” on Sunday. I echo Sloss’ sentiments.

Despite living in Davis for more than three decades, I can’t remember a time when The Wash Mill hasn’t been quietly doing the business of business, providing a valuable resource for an honest price to our economically challenged neighborhood. And all the while, helping to keep the Davis Manor Shopping Center viable despite retail challenges, including the “Store Wars.”

If we are unable to resuscitate Our Little Shop that Could, may she rest in peace.
