Our new water project

Re: “Don’t Rush to Flush” and our new Water Project.

The Enterprise reported on July 24 about our new water project, “80 percent of streams in the United States contain(ing) measurable concentrations of prescription and nonprescription drugs, steroids and reproductive hormones, according to a study by the U.S. Geological Survey.”

I guess the Sacramento River is one of the polluted streams.

And, “water treatment plants have been largely unsuccessful in removing pharmaceuticals from the water supply.”

So I guess (again) that the water in our homes will also be contaminated.

I guess that our “new” water will be less healthy than our “old” water.

I wonder if my RO filter will remove the pharmaceuticals.
