Peterson’s ready to serve today

By
From page A8 | October 25, 2012 |

Nancy Peterson has spent the past 12 years serving our students as a parent volunteer. Her passion and commitment for all students in the Davis Joint Unified School District has been demonstrated through her involvement in various community organizations (Davis Bridge Educational Foundation and the DHS Blue & White Foundation) as well as serving as Site Council chair for Montgomery Elementary and Harper Junior High.

As a result of her experience, she has a unique understanding of our district and the issues we face. Her advice is often sought by Davis families, myself included, when seeking positive interaction with the district, and staff members have counted on Nancy for improved community connections. That’s why Nancy has been invited to serve as a representative for many important discussions and decisions in the past decade.

Nancy is incredibly intelligent, rational and reasonable. She reaches her conclusions after extensive research and always seeks to understand from all viewpoints. Nancy has consistently sought to represent all students of our district and seeks to improve educational opportunities for everyone.

I trust Nancy to improve the dialogue and respect her vast knowledge. She is ready to serve the school board today — an extremely important factor — especially in an election where so much is at stake for our children and their schools.

Join me and vote Nancy Peterson for Davis school board!
