Pick up the phone to help Ukraine

Russian President Putin has expressed concern about ethnic Russians in Ukraine, and might use that concern as an excuse to invade mainland Ukraine.  This excuse must be firmly rebuffed.  I therefore post the following urgent message to anyone who has friends/relatives in Ukraine: Please call or e-mail them to ask them to spread the word to all Ukrainians (especially ethnic Russians) to rebuff Putin by publicly declaring (via social media, TV, radio, and newspapers) that they don’t need Putin’s protection.  This would remove his “must protect Russians” excuse for invading mainland Ukraine, and thus flummox him!

Please also contact the Ukraine Embassy to urge that the Ukraine government pledge to protect the rights of ethnic Russians, invite in international observers to verify the good treatment of ethnic Russians, and appeal to “Our Russian brothers and sisters in Ukraine to rebuff Putin and declare that they don’t want or need his protection!”.  Below is contact information:
