Q&A wasn’t fair and balanced

By
From page A6 | May 25, 2014 |

Thank you for your editorial on the front page of the May 16 Enterprise. Next time you try to pass off an “article” like Q&A about Davis water rates, please label it accordingly or put it in the Forum section. Fox News could not have done a better job of only presenting one (biased) side of a story.

I am not involved with either side in the Measure P debate, In fact, I had not decided which way to vote until I read your puff piece on Measure P. Now I’m voting yes. I’ve now decided that Davis needs to throw out the current rate structure and come up with something that is fairer to all residents of our fair city.

I get very concerned when the local paper of record keeps going out of its way to push one position rather than doing what a paper should do, i.e., report the news. Maybe I missed it, but nowhere did I see this “article” quote Mark Siegler. Did you even bother to talk to him?

Maybe The Enterprise can ask Fox News if you can borrow their “fair and balanced” tag line.
