Re-elect Lovenburg to board

By
From page A6 | October 16, 2012 |

I first met Susan Lovenburg more than a decade ago, when both of our kids attended Willett Elementary School. I had the privilege of working with Susan on the school’s newsletter and website, and saw Susan work tirelessly to support both students and teachers in the classroom.

During the past five years, Susan has served as a member of the Davis school board, where she has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to creating the best environment for students, an environment that will teach them the skills needed for college or a career. Susan is an approachable and dependable leader who is knowledgeable about issues impacting the students, teachers and families of the Davis school district.

Susan also has been a dedicated supporter of the NewStar Chinese School. She attends the school’s Chinese New Year celebrations every year and has supported our Culture in Motion fundraiser for the Davis school district.

As a current board member, Susan has the experience necessary to give students the help they need in this difficult economic time. Please join me in re-electing Susan Lovenburg to the Davis school board.
