Re-elect Lovenburg, yes on E
We have known Susan Lovenburg since our daughters — now graduated from college — were in grade school together. Susan was responsible for getting us into volunteering at the schools years ago and more recently helping us understand the true nature of school funding in the state of California.
If you haven’t had a chance to look at the web tool that Susan and others in the community have developed (www.districtdollars.org), do it now before you vote. It contains a wealth of information.
Susan has worked tirelessly for the past five years on the school board during some of the worst economic times the schools have faced. We know Susan to be one of the best listeners we have ever met. She is genuinely interested in everyone’s ideas, gathers her information from all sides and makes very reasoned and thoughtful decisions.
She has served the children of the Davis school district well over the past five years and developed invaluable knowledge to help us through the next difficult years of school financing. Please join us in voting for Susan Lovenburg and please support Measure E.
