Robb Davis is the real deal
I have worked with City Council candidate Robb Davis in various capacities over the past 10 years. Robb is the real deal. He lives what he speaks.
He doesn’t just talk about environmental stewardship; he practices it. He doesn’t just talk about homeless advocacy; he cares personally for those in need. He doesn’t just talk about restorative justice; he has feet on the ground in working with neighborhood courts. He doesn’t just advocate for Davis Bicycles!; he rides his bike everywhere.
Robb is also one of the most gifted thinkers I know. He is able to see all sides of an issue, empathize with people who have opposing viewpoints, and clearly articulate a rational position. Robb is a deep listener. He’s not waiting until you finish talking so he can say what he was planning on saying. He actually listens to what people have to say and meets them where they are.
In 24 years of living in Davis, I have never written a letter to the editor in support of a City Council candidate. But I do so now because I am convinced that Robb can be trusted and will bring solid leadership to our city. Join me in voting Robb Davis for Davis City Council on June 3.
