She’s warmed many hearts

CommuniCare Health Centers is pleased to join in celebrating Margret Henryson’s 102nd birthday on the occasion of her receiving the Century Circle recognition from Assemblywoman Mariko Yamada.

We are deeply honored to have Margret as a longtime supporter of CommuniCare and to be mentioned in the recent Davis Enterprise article spotlighting her accomplishments. For many, many years, Margret has donated her hand-sewn and hand-knit children’s clothing, sleepers and baby blankets to benefit our client families, many of whom are very low-income with meager resources.

The beautiful clothes that Margret so carefully and skillfully makes are always warmly received by the mothers and children to whom they are given. Through the generosity of her time and effort, Margret has, quite literally, warmed the hearts of generations of CommuniCare clients.

We are so fortunate to have caring friends in our community who, like Margret, give so much to help those in need. On behalf of our board of directors, our staff and volunteers, and most importantly the many families who are our clients, we thank you, Margret, and look forward to wishing you a happy 103rd birthday!

Everyone at CommuniCare Health Centers
