Show solidarity at courthouse

By From page A12 | March 22, 2013

The Supreme Court of the United States will hear the case to overturn California’s Proposition 8 on Monday, and the Defense of Marriage Act case on Wednesday. These cases may decide the fate of marriage for same-sex couples in America.

A “Light the Way to Justice” rally and vigil will be held on the steps of the federal courthouse at 501 I St. in Sacramento. Come join us and show your support for gay rights anytime from 4 to 9 p.m., whenever you can, on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Feel free to bring signs and we’ll provide candles.

This is not a march or a fight — this is a peaceful show of solidarity, a stand for love, not hate. Hope to see you there.
