Take advantage of wilderness

By From page A10 | October 11, 2013

Thank you to The Davis Enterprise for supporting permanent protection for the Berryessa Snow Mountain Region. I have not only served as the president of the conservation nonprofit, Tuleyome, but I have also put countless hours into building and maintaining trails in this amazing region.

There are so many ways to enjoy this wild and wondrous place. Whether it is hiking up the grueling Berryessa Peak Trail to catch the view of a lifetime, or going out on a boat at Lake Berryessa to relax and enjoy some fishing, there is something for everyone.

The weather is cooling down, so it’s the perfect time to go and see the region first-hand. Tuleyome will lead guided hikes in the region throughout the fall, winter and spring, and there also will be opportunities to build and maintain popular hiking areas.
