Thank you, Fleet Feet
For many, many years, Davis’ Fleet Feet Sports has supported and assisted in recognizing elementary students who participate in school jogging clubs. Fleet Feet has donated T-shirts, water bottles, etc., which have served as “fun” incentives to students in meeting their mileage goals.
Pioneer Elementary School’s students, teachers and parents wish to acknowledge and express much gratitude to Fleet Feet for supporting the school’s mileage club. This year, our students walked, jogged or ran around the one-quarter-mile course, logging more than 1,200 miles! Many students earned water bottles and those completing 26.2 miles earned a marathon T-shirt generously provided by Fleet Feet!
Not only did the students enjoy the mileage club, but they learned the fitness benefits of exercise adherence, setting and achieving goals, and that “moving is fun.”
