On behalf of Davis Community Meals, we would like to thank the Davis Odd Fellows for their support in successfully co-hosting the third annual Hand in Hand dinner/raffle at the Davis Odd Fellows lodge recently.

We were able to raise much-needed funds to continue the many services that Davis Community Meals provides to the homeless and nearly homeless, including transitional housing for families and foster youth, emergency winter shelter, three weekly meals at St. Martin’s church and additional supportive resource services.

We would also like to thank the following businesses and individuals for donating prizes to the raffle: Cable Car Wash, Ciocolat, Common Grounds, Créme de la Créme, Davis Athletic Club, The Davis Enterprise, Dos Coyotes, Hotdogger, Seasons, Village Pizza & Grill, Y2K Nails, Lea Rosenberg , Bill Pride and Carlos Matos.

We also gratefully acknowledge Mary Philip along with all of the volunteers who donated their time and effort to put together the wonderful meal. Finally, we also thank Susan Shelton for designing and creating a beautiful and unique plaque acknowledging the compassionate and caring people and organizations that continue to support Davis Community Meals.
