Thanks for Korematsu shirts

By February 14, 2011

We would like to thank and recognize the following groups and individuals that made it possible for us to provide every student and staff member at Fred T. Korematsu Elementary School at Mace Ranch a commemorative T-shirt in recognition of California’s first “Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution.”

Our gratitude goes out to: our school community for their generous donations, A Change of Pace Foundation for their assistance with designing the T-shirts and providing the shirts to us at cost, and to the following sponsors: Mariko Yamada, Jerry and Teresa Kaneko, Jim Provenza and members of the DJUSD Board of Education.

Lisa Roberts-Arvin, Wes Hardaker (PTO president), Allen Carlson, Belinda Kesser, Cathy Bucher, Christina Mathiesen, Cheri Olmstead, Cristina Sandoval, Jan Coker, Julie Cuetara, Janet Sitts, Kristin Moseanko, Linda McClain, Lisa Tricoli, Nicole Smith, Pat Johnson, Ruth Beckon, Robert Creely, Sandra Cantu, Susan Chan, Sharyn Lieth, Sandy Pattison, Sarita Cooper and Teri Murphy
