Thanks, R&R, for donation

By From page A12 | November 11, 2012

The board of directors, bolunteers and staff of Suicide Prevention and Crisis Services wish to thank everyone connected with All Things Right & Relevant for its generous donation of $5,000 in support of our programs and ongoing crisis services. What a wonderful gift to receive in these difficult economic times.

The financial assistance provided to 10 mental health agencies by All Things Right & Relevant helps individuals who are experiencing a crisis or need some type of support. The funding that Suicide Prevention received will go directly to the cost of operating our 24-hour crisis lines. Each year we receive nearly 5,000 calls on our lines from individuals in crisis or at-risk. With the support of businesses such as All Things Right & Relevant, Suicide Prevention will continue to be there for people in need.

Along with the nine other nonprofit agencies in Yolo County, we greatly appreciate the continued support of R&R and wish them continued success at their new location on Spafford Street.

Diane Sommers

Executive director, Suicide Prevention and Crisis Services
