The columnist gets it right

Now I realize why I subscribe to a daily paper I usually finish in six minutes. It’s not just for the death notices or the weather report. It’s for the columnist.

On important subjects, he has almost always been right: Think of the issue of the Zipcars, when most of our elected officials were hindered in their vision by their ideological blunders. (These included that sharing transportation is wonderful.)

I am even more impressed by his opposition to the expensive water project. “Chapeau bas!” I say. May his column endure a long time! I put up my red “No on I” signs in my front yard yesterday.
