Travis Brass earns kudos

Monday, April 29, was the first “Day of Art Giving” in the region, and as part of our celebration for this, the six-piece ensemble brass group of the United States Air Force Band, Travis Brass, played their music at Heritage Plaza in downtown Woodland. YoloArts would like to extend sincere thanks to the six Travis Brass members who set up, performed beautifully for the listeners’ enjoyment and helped with putting the chairs away.

Additionally, we want to say a big thank you to Maria’s Cantina restaurant and Crissi Kessler for hosting the musicians for lunch after their performance. We are so grateful for Maria’s Cantina’s generosity in serving lunch to the band members whose music was enjoyed by many people at and around Heritage Plaza.

Danielle Thomas
Executive director, YoloArts, Woodland
