I am honored to support Barbara Archer and Madhavi Sunder for Davis school board. Madhavi reached out to me early this year through a mutual friend because she wanted to learn more about aspects of the school district that she hadn’t experienced firsthand with her own children. We talked at length about my daughter’s six years in Birch Lane Elementary’s Montessori program and about my son’s winding path through the district’s special education program.

I was impressed with the questions she asked and with her follow-through. I am inspired by the extra effort Madhavi has made throughout her campaign to proactively tour all of the Davis district’s school sites. She is thorough, analytical and one of the hardest-working people I know. Madhavi is an independent thinker who will research all sides of an issue.

I am equally enthusiastic about supporting Barbara Archer. I have found Barbara to be an extremely approachable, hands-on, energetic leader. Her incredibly wide range of volunteer positions in the schools is unmatched among this year’s school board candidates. Barbara has served as a highly respected and trusted resource within our community for years, and I am delighted that someone with her giving spirit and proven track record of accomplishments has stepped forward as a trustee candidate. Barbara is as genuine as they come.
