The students of the DJUSD should receive a fine education but not at the expensive and financial hardship that an excessive tax burden would create as it would be unfair to expect the taxpayers of the community to be an endless revenue source to provide this funding. The best means would be for the school board to seek to reduce the costs of providing its programs and maintain their quality in an innovative manner without the negative effects of constantly seeking to raise taxes to excessive levels like in the case of Measure A to do so which will likely have a negative economic effect on the rest of the community especially on those in the middle class/middle aged group of student parent homeowners that need to continue to reside in the community and not be forced out by high taxation to prevent enrollment levels from falling extensively.
