Why isn’t someone coming up with a scheme to send water from the drenched eastern United States via trains to California and other parched Western states?
The oil trains have to be stopped because the risks to humans, towns, cities and the environment are much too great. And should Davisites have to risk their lives and environment for flammable Bakken crude oil to be sent to the Valero refinery in Benicia, so that the refinery can make a profit by sending the refined oil to China?
The trains are all for monetary profit for a few in the oil industry and processing companies, and are a potential tragedy for Americans along the railway system!
Stop the oil trains, and begin thinking about water trains for actual American benefits. It must be feasible to do this, as the drought gets longer. Think tanks, I hope you are busy on this!
