We made our decisions in peace

By From page A6 | December 04, 2012

Tom Elias seems to think that in this age of electronic media, we still need to have candidates physically in the state in the manner of Harry Truman’s whistle stops. He then laments that we were not “pestered nonstop during election season” as Ohio was.

OK, so with both sides pandering to the swing states, the rest of us were able to look at actual positions stated, think about the issues without excessive noise and make our decisions in peace. How was this a bad thing? Perhaps one of us is missing something important.
