Willett competes for $50,000 grant

By From page A16 | November 18, 2012

Willett Elementary School is our neighborhood school and we are thrilled to be promoting Willett’s nomination for a $50,000 grant offered by the Clorox Company’s Power A Bright Future Program.

As parents of a first-grader and soon-to-be-kindergartner, we are well aware of the funding and class size constraints facing our district. With this grant, Willett would be able to update and enhance our campus’ technology, improving learning and instruction for years to come.

We need communitywide support, your vote, to make it happen. Please visit powerabrightfuture.clorox.com to vote for Willett or you can text 377pbf to 95248. Vote daily until Dec. 19. Seven winners with the most votes will be announced in the spring. Thanks for supporting Willett Elementary School children.
