I wonder if there isn't a solution available to us that addresses this problem. Specifically, we could have the developers of each lot in each development (not just Cannery) establish the default configuration and default price for each and every lot they sell/build on. So lets say that the default configuration and default price for a particular hypothetical lot is 2,200 square feet in two stories and a $400,000 sale price. Alternative configurations would be available as buyer's options, but the price of $400,000 would not change. Thus if Debbie or any other senior wants to have a one-story 1,500 square foot house for that hypothetical lot and are willing to pay $400,000 for it, then they can have it the way they want it.

Thoughts?
