Adopt a family for the holidays

By
From page A3 | December 04, 2013 |

Share the joy this holiday season and adopt a family for Christmas through STEAC, the Short-Term Emergency Aid Committee.

Several dozen families still need holiday angels to sign up to provide basic household staples, all the fixings for a traditional holiday meal and gifts for every family member.

Program participants are all Davis residents and are screened for income eligibility.

Along with the food and gifts, STEAC also has a coat or jacket and a book for each member of the family.

To learn more about the program and to adopt a family, visit www.steac.org, call 530-758-8435 or email steac@steac.org. Food and gifts must be delivered Dec. 10-12 to First Baptist Church of Davis, 38141 Russell Blvd.
