Dispose of e-waste and help YCCC
Davis residents have the opportunity to get rid of their electronic waste and support the Yolo Community Care Continuum, a nonprofit agency that provides community-based programs for individuals suffering from a psychiatric disability.
YCCC provides services for individuals in all points in the recovery process, emphasizing social rehabilitation and promoting independent living.
E-Waste 4 Good, an organization dedicated to e-waste removal and benefiting charities, is offering free pickup of e-waste. Residents can sign up at www.ewaste4good.com and mark the Yolo Community Care Continuum as the beneficiary or call (800) 317-3112 to schedule a pickup time.
E-Waste 4 Good accepts televisions, computers, cell phones, small appliances and calculators. For a complete list of items accepted for pickup, visit www.ewaste4good.com.
