One of Davis most unusual events, the Tour de Cluck — a bicycle tour of backyard chicken coops — attracted dozens of chicken aficionados to town on Saturday. The tour was sold out weeks ago, but related activities were attractive to all comers, including a “Courage to Cluck” competition; a silent auction of artwork and items around the themes of bikes, barnyards and chickens; and lots of chicken- and egg-related tasty goodies served up by Davis Farmers Market vendors.
