Environmental Voices screens film, plans fundraiser

The documentary “Hidden Dangers in Kids’ Meals” will be screened from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis. Admission is free to this event sponsored by Environmental Voices.

Environmental Voices also is sponsoring a meet-and-greet fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Rominger West Winery, 4602 Second St., Suite 4, in Davis. Wine, and music by Cary Farley, are included in the $20 ticket cost ($25 at the door). For advance tickets, call Deborah Whitman at (916) 595-7197.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund a new documentary film titled “Our Dead and Dying Trees.”
