The Society for Conservation Biology’s Davis chapter will offer an educational seminar at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Blanchard Room at the Davis Library, 315 E. 14th St.
This seminar will cover biodiversity and conservation. Attendees will learn what it means to “conserve biodiversity” in the Davis area and beyond and what role each resident can play to promote biodiversity. Active participation, questions and comments are encouraged at these interactive seminars.
Refreshments will be provided.
A suggested donation of $5 will help fund the group’s travel grant program to send chapter members to the 2011 International Congress for Conservation Biology.
