Tour de Cluck swag, raffle tickets on sale

Tour de Cluck tickets are sold out, but T-shirts and caps will be offered for sale at the Tour de Cluck booth at Saturday’s Davis Farmers Market in Central Park, Fourth and C streets in downtown Davis.

These limited-edition signature items were snapped up in just a few days last year, so event organizers urge hopeful buyers to purchase the 2011 version at reduced pre-event prices this weekend.

Raffle tickets for a MAK Design+Build Tour de Cluck chicken coop also will be available Saturday, and at the Tour de Cluck silent auction tent on Saturday, May 14. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The 4-by-6-foot coop will house up to five full-size hens in style, organizers said.
