Alzheimer’s training offered in Woodland

The Yolo Adult Day Health Center is offering the Alzheimer’s Association’s popular workshop, “Accepting the Challenge — Providing the Best Care for People with Dementia,” this spring.

Caregivers will have an opportunity to view and discuss the educational series that inspires a new way of thinking. The workshop is free.

The first two sessions are Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 28 and March 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 20 N. Cottonwood St. in Woodland. For more information or to sign up, call the center at (530) 666-8828.
