And it came crashing down

By From page A1 | October 18, 2012

Tuesday evening’s high winds claimed a victim in the 600 block of I Street in Davis — a 60-year-old hackberry tree that was uprooted and crashed down on a Honda Accord parked in front of John Lambert’s home. Crews from West Coast Arborists, which contracts with the city for tree maintenance, were chopping up the tree on Wednesday morning. Another dead tree in the yard next door was scheduled to be removed as well. Sue Cockrell/Enterprise photo
