Apply now to sell food on the Fourth
Applications to sell concessions at the Fourth of July celebration this year are due by 5 p.m. Friday, May 27.
Each year, thousands of people gather at Community Park for the city’s holiday celebration and fireworks display. Community organizations may apply to set up concession stands for a nominal fee in order to sell food and specialty items, allowing them to raise awareness about their activities as well as funds for their group. Groups that would just like to hand out information may have booths free of charge.
Community organizations and nonprofits interested in being concessionaires can download an application at http://cityofdavis.org/cs/events/july4concessions.cfm. Completed applications can be dropped off at the Community Services Department, 23 Russell Blvd., Suite 5.
