Archer campaign kicks off Monday

Barbara Archer will kick off her campaign for a four-year term on the Davis school board with an event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the home of Joy Klineberg, 764 Elmwood Drive.

Former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Delaine Eastin, Archer’s honorary campaign chairperson, will speak at the event.

Archer has served as Willett Elementary PTA president and as an elected Willett Site Council member and currently is vice president of the Da Vinci Boosters. She also co-chaired the Measure C school parcel tax campaign, sits on the Davis school district’s Parcel Tax Oversight Committee and served on the district’s Strategic Planning Action Team for Technology Infrastructure and Facilities.

Parents, teachers and community members are welcome to attend the kickoff event.
