Argentine tango showcased at library performances

The Yolo County Library will host two events in April celebrating the rich history of Argentine tango. Visitors will experience the magic and passion of the dance that influenced art, fashion and music worldwide.

Jurek Mazur will give a multimedia presentation on the roots, history and culture of Argentine tango with music and a special live performance of this dance at two performances on Saturday, April 13.

Mazur will be at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in West Sacramento, 1212 Merkley Ave., at 11 a.m., then will travel to Davis for a 3 p.m. program at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St.
