Anthony Padilla creates a mural for the Pence Gallery on Monday at the Davis Commons plaza downtown as part of Arts Day of Giving, which asked arts lovers to donate to their favorite local organizations.┬áPence Gallery executive director Natalie Nelson estimates that 100 people joined the fun at Davis Commons, which included drawing exercises and Padilla’s painting, which were among many activities as part of the 24-hour fundraiser organized by GiveLocalNow in partnership with the Sacramento Region Community Foundation and the Sacramento Metropolitan Artgs Commission. Activities continued at the Pence Gallery and at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts throughout the day and evening Monday.
