Art Studio Tour returns to Davis

Get a glimpse of how an artist works as the Davis Art Studio Tour returns May 31 and June 1.

This two-day event gives the public access to numerous artists’ studios in the Davis area.

Tickets are $10 per person and available at The Artery, 207 G St.; J Cunningham Salon, 1809 Picasso Ave.; Cobalt Salon & Gallery, 132 E St.; and Art-is Davis, 222 D St. Children under 12 are free. Brochures with the names of the 27 local artists plus a map for a self-guided tour of their studios — open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — is included.

The Artery will host a pre-tour exhibit May 27 to June 2, with an artists’ reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 30.

Participating artists are Deladier Almeida, Joanne Andresen, Lauren Brandy, Marie-Therese Brown, Magdalene Crivelli, Bunny Jean Cunningham, Marianne De Boer, Marieke De Waard, Christopher Dewees, Linda Fitz Gibbon, Phil Gross, Cynthia Kroener, Anne Lincoln, Emma Luna, Doriene Marshall, Brigitte Mayer, Shorre Oldham, Bob Plutchok, Vicki Plutchok, Sara Post, Thomas Post, Michael Radin, Kerry Jo Rowland-Avrech, Marguerite Ann Schaffron, Andrea Stone, Robert Stone, Jan Walker and Thelma Weatherford.
