Associated Press

For the record

By From page A2 | June 25, 2014

In Tuesday’s story about proposed changes to a water bond measure, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the bill would require that any future tunnel projects be approved by the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy. In fact, the bill does not give the conservancy the authority for direct approval.

The AP also misstated that the conservancy is part of the Delta Stewardship Council. The two are separate state entities.
