The Friends of the Davis Public Library will have its next bimonthly book sale starting Friday, Feb. 7, for members only from noon to 2 p.m. As always, shoppers may join at the door.

The sale will be open to members and nonmembers alike from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9; at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Purchases may be by cash, credit card or debit card.

This sale features a number of books from the collection of the late Herbert Bauer, an avid reader who was known as the “Conscience of Davis.” They will be displayed on a special table for perusal and purchase.

A large selection of children’s books and “better” books also will be available. On Sunday, better books are half-price, and an entire bag of books may be purchased for $5.

Membership applications for the Friends of the Davis Public Library will be available at the door or online at http://davislibraryfriends.org. Membership includes bimonthly postcard reminders of the books sales, which can be turned in at each book sale for $4 off book purchases.
For more information, call Gary Godefroy at 530-759-9409.
