Beer-tasting benefits work on The Domes

The Davis Food Co-op, 620 G St. in downtown Davis, will host a tasting of organic beers from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6. The cost is $5 to taste the slate or $1 per taste.

In celebration of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives, proceeds will benefit the Solar Community Housing Association, which is helping to refurbish The Domes at UC Davis. Funds raised will help finish the rebuild of this landmark cooperative housing project on campus.
