Book sale benefits Friends of the Library

By From page A3 | October 01, 2013

October’s book sale at the Stephens Branch Library promises to be big, thanks to a large donation from a Sacramento book dealer. A large selection of books — especially literature, history, art and children’s — will be featured.

The sale will run from noon to 2 p.m. Friday for members of the Friends of the Library only. As always, shoppers may join the group at the door. Public hours are 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The sale takes place at the library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Sales may be by cash, credit card or debit card. On Sunday, bring your own bag for $5 per bag; “better” books will be half-price.
