Book sales benefit Woodland library

The Friends of the Woodland Public Library will hold a book sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the library, 250 First St.

Specially marked hard-back mysteries will sell for four for $1. Biographies will be buy one, get one free, and seasonal holiday selections will be available.

In addition, a “Last Thursday” book sale is planned from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the library.¬†All hard-back biographies and paperback fiction, nonfiction and romance books will be buy one, get one free. Proceeds from both sales will support the library.
