Book sale raises funds for Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Davis Public Library will have its bi-monthly book sale starting Friday, April 8. The first day, from noon to 2 p.m., is for members only. As always, shoppers may join at the door, 315 E. 14th St.

The sale will be open to all from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 8, through Sunday, April 10. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10.

All hardback books and trade paperbacks will be $2, pocket paperbacks will be $1, children’s books will range from 25 cents to $2, and CDs, DVDs and tapes will be $1. On Sunday, full bags of books will be only $5 and “better books” are half-price.

Membership applications for the Friends of the Davis Public Library will be available at the door or at the website http://davislibraryfriends.org. Membership includes bi-monthly postcards reminders of the book sales. These cards  may be turned in at each book sale for $4 off book purchases.
