Tickets go on sale starting Thursday for one of Davis’ favorite annual happenings: Breakfast with the Bunny, which will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at a new location this year — the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St. in downtown Davis.
Tickets are $10 per person and are available for purchase only at The Avid Reader, 617 Second St. Only 200 tickets are available for this kid-friendly event.
Included in the ticket price is a continental breakfast, with major donations from the Davis Food Co-op; the ever-popular “Eggstravaganza,” where children can have fun with arts and crafts and other projects, such as cookie decorating and bead jewelry making; and a grand parade through downtown.
Of course, children will get to meet the Easter Bunny.
Breakfast with the Bunny is a longtime Davis tradition that has been organized and presented over the years by the city of Davis. This year, the city has asked the Davis Odd Fellows to take over the project.
“The children and families of this community love this event, and we just couldn’t disappoint them,” said Lea Rosenberg, event co-chair.
Children are welcome to bring their bikes to Breakfast with the Bunny for use during the parade, or they may walk the easy downtown route, which will cover just a couple of blocks.
