Learn about 4H at information night

By
From page A3 | September 20, 2012 |

Davis’ 4H program will host an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Stephens Branch Library, 315 E. 14th St. in Davis.

The event will provide information about all three Davis 4H clubs — Golden Valley, Norwood and West Plainfield — and what 4H is all about. Activities include robotics, sewing, baking, geocaching, hiking, public speaking, community service, and, of course, lots of animal projects (including vermiculture).

Kids ages 5 to 19 can join.

Golden Valley 4H meets at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at Holmes Junior High, 1220 Drexel Drive in Davis. The next club meeting will be on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
