A wave of fun at oceanic library adventure

By From page A4 | March 24, 2013

Local author/illustrator Heidi Joulios will entertain, inspire and educate children at a program from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, in the Leake Room at the Woodland Public Library, 250 First St. in Woodland.

Using concepts and characters from her children’s book, “Color My Coral,” Joulios aims to raise awareness of coral reef pollution and further promote involvement in the health of our oceans. Her program will include a large-screen storybook reading, an interactive audience discussion, and insight into the writing process and the art of illustrating.

The program is free and open to all ages.
