The public is invited to attend the Woodland Davis Aeromodelers’ open house and new field dedication from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18. The field is on County Road 29, 1.3 miles east of County Road 102, northeast of Davis.
There will be flying demonstrations of all types of aircraft, including turbine jets, war birds, helicopters, aerobatic, Golden Age planes, and gliders. There also will be u-control aerobatic demonstrations.
Visitors will have an opportunity to try their hand at flying a radio-control club trainer. Member instructors will be available to answer questions.
