Ag mechanics class offered this summer

Woodland Community College, in partnership with the Yolo County Regional Occupational Program, is offering a two-unit agriculture mechanics course this summer with an emphasis in welding. Students will develop skills in performing a variety of welds, including shielded metal arc welding, oxy-fuel welding and MIG welding.

The course will take place in the ag facility at Winters High School. Students can sign up on the Woodland Community College website, www.yccd.edu, by applying as a student for summer session and registering for AG97A, course code W8188.
