Local residents are invited to Congregation Bet Haverim’s Community Potluck Seder on Tuesday, March 26, at the temple’s Social Hall, 1715 Anderson Road in Davis. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the seder begins at 6 p.m.
Guests are asked to bring their favorite Passover main dish or side dish to the seder, enough to serve eight to 10 people. Note: No meat dishes are permitted at Congregation Bet Haverim. Additionally, no bread, flour or yeast products are allowed during Passover.
Suggested items include matza or potato kugel, fruit, vegetables (except corn and beans) and tuna fish or salmon. Salads should be without croutons or salad dressing. Kosher for Passover salad dressing will be provided. CBH also will provide wine, matza and dessert as well as ritual food items.
The cost of the seder is $10 for those ages 10 or older, $5 for children age 3 to age 9 and free for children under 3.
